Elettroveneta is a company that provides personalized consultancy on electricity, electrical products, and materials, with updated technologies across all sectors of electricity. In anticipation of the SPS electronics fair in Parma, we were contacted by their marketing department to create their booth in a new, captivating way that would attract attention through technology like Augmented Reality.
Our idea was to divide the booth into two parts, utilizing Augmented Reality differently to showcase the various types of systems the company offers: the first part of the booth was designed to be engaging and approachable to the public, while the second part was conceived to be dynamic and delve into technical details.
For the attractive first part, we had a table made with a printed marker applied to it, surrounded by tablets. We modeled and animated a bottling plant system to represent the connections between the machinery involved. Visitors scanning the marker on the table saw a three-dimensional and moving bottling plant system in Augmented Reality, with the ability to interact and display all technical specifications on the model. The Augmented Reality image displayed from one of these tablets was also projected onto the wall, encouraging visitors to approach the booth.
For the second part of the booth, we decided to print on the wall images of 4 different types of systems for which Elettroveneta provides electronic systems. By scanning the wall panel with a tablet, the image came to life, and geometric animations indicated the devices comprising the electrical system in each illustrated case.
Our collaboration with Elettroveneta was a significant experience that allowed us to effectively integrate Augmented Reality into the world of trade fairs.
